Lima and a sad goodbye (22-23/Jun/06)

Huaraz, Peru

Wow, speed-tourism is pretty tiring! At leas now we had a nice day to ourselves of “free time” which we just spent walking around Lima. The next morning we bid a sad farewell to Tomas & Marisa. Then we went off to see the gold museum which is pretty impressing but apparently was even more so up until the early 90’s (an inheritance squabble meant many pieces left). From here we will get the night bus to Huaraz further North, the trekking & mountaineering capital of Peru.
